Josie was absolutely Wonderful and super welcoming , the place had such a homey wonderful vibe. Becky was kind enough to make hot chocolate milk especially for us because we could not have the marshmallow mix. This place is a local wonder. The food was delicious and had us coming back for more. This place is must-eat-at local spot and I believe we will never be visiting Ellijay without stopping here in the future ! With halal food restrictions we tried their grilled cheese on Texan toast with veggies and it was the best we’ve had! 10/10 recommended.
We stopped at The Chili Dog in Ellijay and everything we tried was incredible! The Philly was amazing — packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The chili dog was just as good, loaded with hearty chili that hit the spot. We also tried the corn bites and the corn dog, and both were fantastic — crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The food came out hot and fresh, and you can tell they put care into every order. Definitely one of those hidden gems worth stopping for — we’ll absolutely be back!
Been coming to chili dogs for 6 years and the service is always the best. The girls inside are super friendly. The food is awesome. The vibe is great. One of my favorite places to go especially if Im on shift at the FD.
Delicious burgers!! Affordable prices. Lots of menu items to choose from. The service was super friendly and most of the folks getting food were obviously regulars because the woman at the window knew their names. The dining room is a plain enclosed porch type area, so nothing fancy, but it was clean. I didn't see a bathroom for customers but there may have been one on the exterior of the building somewhere.
Chili Dog is amazing! Each item that we ordered was perfection. This restaurant does fried foods very well. The onion rings, corn dog nuggets, and tater tots were all amazing. The real star of the show is their chili burger. Their chili is amazing and is a perfect complement to the burgers. It is hard to find an establishment this good!
Only went for breakfast. Best southern breakfast I had in years. Biscuits and gravy were plentiful and delicious. Grits were instant but delicious. Eggs were good. Want to go for lunch. The service was fast. The counter was patient to answer questions in between the many people she was serving. Coffee was good but not strong. But that's not why one goes there. I really want to get the sandwiches next time. The price point is awesome for families. My son absolutely loved everything. He was also interested in the work trucks and different trades coming in.
